IUBAT was born out of Dr Miyan’s deep understanding of Bangladesh’s development challenges and his conviction that human resource development is essential for national progress. The initial planning began in 1989, and through his relentless efforts, the university was formally established in 1991 as the first non-government institution of its kind in the country
